Installing the Pedals
Note the left and right of the pedal.
[ L ] left [ R ] right are stamped on the
threaded end of the pedal.
Attach the L pedal to the L crank, then R
pedal to R crank.
Screw the pedals in and tighten them fully.
The L pedal has left-hand threads, and the R pedal has right-hand threads.
Misapplication is not covered under warranty.
Brake Adjustment
Your bike’s front and rear brakes have a pad that ride on the rim of the wheel for braking. These are adjusted by
tightening the cable and by adjusting the stem of the pad. The front brake should be adjusted so that it slows the
tire but cannot make it skid. The rear brake should be adjusted so that if necessary it can skid the tire. Adjust the
pads on both sides of the bike. Cables also have adjustment at the brake levers on the handlebars.
Take note that the rear brake is on the left side of the handlebar, and the front
brake is on the right side of the handlebar.
